The horse hair is pulled out of a plastic horse. The belt is very stiff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Nice Design
The braided horsehair has a nice look against the black of the leather. I've not worn it yet but it seems like it should hold up to the everyday work and play.

Great belt thick leather I know its going to last me forever. Looks great several complinents on it. Give it time to break in and you'll love it!
