Cody James Men's Waterproof Met Guard Western Work Boots - Composite Toe

I work for a gas supply company as a CDL hazmat delivery driver. I’m required to have safety tow boots with a met gaurd. On a whim I swung by Boot Barn and tried these on. I was immediately surprised by how comfortable these were. They are extremely well crafted and as a bonus, they have Vibram souls. Which are the best in the world.

Having worked in heavy construction for the last 20 years, and in all sorts of conditions, I’ve tried all the top common brands (Chippewa, Red Wing, Tim Pro’s, etc.) and I like to think I know a bit about boots having spent the majority of my waking hours wearing them.

I’m climbing in and out of the truck all day, moving heavy tanks of gas around, kicking things, and driving hundreds of miles. At the end of the day, my feet feel great. No fatigue. No soreness or chaffing. I really like these boots. I just wish I had bought the brown pair instead of the black. Unfortunately, the brown wasn’t available in my size and I needed boots immediately. Will buy again.

Love this boot, I work as a Vessel Engineer in the oil field and I've tried several brands of boots and this is by far in my opinion a very comfortable boot and light to wear for atleast 12 hours a day months at a time. I have now purchased 3 pairs. Due to the fact that Im extremely rough on boots and deal with different chemicals. They last between 1-2 years for me and thats way better than anything else I was using going through every 6-8 months before. I will continue to purchase these.
